    As a professional athlete, she has over 16 years of dance experience and has studied with many different top ranking studios all across the world. She was US Champion in Youth, Amateur, and Adult Under 21 International Latin and International Ballroom events multiple times from 2003-2008 and was the champion in many famous competitions such as Nevada Star Ball, California State Open DanceSport Championships, Manhattan Open DanceSport Championships, International Grand Ball, San Francisco Open, and many many others. She won numerous National and International championships, and represented Ukraine and the USA in multiple international competitions.

     

    She was then certified by the International DanceSport Association (IDSA) as an international dance teacher. She was also licensed by the World Dance Council (WDC), the International DanceSport Association (IDSA), and the American Dance League (ADL) (member of the International Dance Council (CID)), UNESCO as an International Adjudicator for Latin and Ballroom. She serves as California State Ambassador for ADL. She has judged some of the top competitions such as all of the American Dance League Championships, AAU West Coast National Qualifier Championships, and the USA Junior Olympic Games.

    Ara Mkhoyan has been teaching and training dancers for the past 40 years. In 1972, he became one of the founders of ballroom dancing styles in Armenia and has won the championship of Armenia twice. In 1987, he founded the first specialized studio of sport dance in Yerevan, Armenia. He is a lecturer, associate professor, and author on the subject Pedagogy of Dance. He is currently the chairman of the Judges Council of the Dance Sport Federation of Armenia, Vice President of the Armenian Dance Sport Federation, and Member of the Board of the National Dance Union of Armenia (NDU). He is licensed WDSF Adjudicator A and Professional Division (PD).

    Yelena Vesnovskaya has been teaching and training dancers for the past 30 years. As a professional dancer Yelena has competed in all major European and North American championships and has trained with the top coaches and trainers in the world. Since 2001, Yelena has been the owner and primary instructor of Atlantic Ballroom Dance Studio in Brooklyn New York. In Atlantic Ballroom, Her main focus has been to raise dancers to be determined and passionate competitors. Her education and experience from Russia and the United States create a strict and diverse curriculum, which imbeds into dancers the fundamentals that are necessary for success. Her couples in the USA have also reach many heights, such as Youth and Under 21 Standard National Champions.

    Janna Chalkevitch

    Janna Chalkevitch is a world renown Dancesport Instructor, Adjudicator, and former national ten-dance champion. Since 1969, she along with her husband Vladimir, have coached throughout the world before opening A Chance to Dance Studio in Canada in 1995. During this time they produced numerous national and international champions including their own son and daughter. The Chalkevitch family's innovation and vision has garnered them numerous awards and certifications including: certification by the British Association of Teachers of Dancing, the Canadian Dance Teachers Association, the Canadian Dancesport Federation, and DVIDA. In addition, Janna and Vladimir were the recipients of the first annual Prestige Award from the city of Toronto in 2014
